Topic Research

One of the stories I was thinking about is about the vahanas (vehicles) of the Hindu gods. They often serve as symbols of the gods themselves and seem to represent an aspect of the Gods. The first story I found could be interesting was Ganesha's vahana. The vahanas of the gods are generally different animals and in Ganesha's case, it is a mouse. I found some links for research on this story.

Garuda seems to be the mount of several Gods so I think it'll be a good topic to research on as well.

Indra was one of the gods that seemed to pop up in a lot of the stories I've read so far. So his vahana, Airavata the elephant also seemed like a good research topic.
