Week 11 Story: The Boss Baby Chris

The Boss Baby Source: Dreamworks Wiki

There was a secret organization called The Boss Baby Inc. that handled sending agents in the form of babies to protect future heroes. They accepted tasks that other organizations could not accomplish and chose future heroes for their agents to protect during the hero's infant years. They had a technology that allowed them to possess the body of a baby with their abilities. The agents lived the hero's infant years for them and guaranteed their stable growth. The Boss Baby Inc. mastered the art of manipulation through a baby's cuteness and psychic abilities to guide the surrounding adults' actions.
A mission came in for the organization about a tyrant named Kendrick who ruled the kingdom of Mathura. He was a cruel ruler that killed and stole from his people through various means wantonly. He had a special ability that warned him of danger and it allowed him to survive many attempts at his life. Such repeated failures triggered a mission of the highest difficulty for the organization. It had a high risk of death as Kendrick could tell when a baby was born with the ability to kill him. His detection always resulted in a cruel death of a newborn.
Chris, one of the chief executive agents of the organization, volunteered for the mission to stop further losses of agents. Chris was one of the most powerful psychics in the organization and he had the ability to hypnotize people in a large area. Chris told the other executives, "There are limits to a baby's body, so I will manipulate the parents to safely escort the future hero out of the city while I put everyone in the city to sleep!"
Finding Chris's plan feasible, the organization authorized his request to execute the mission. They found a suitable baby and Chris possessed the baby. Chris quickly used his ability and put everyone in Mathura to deep sleep including Kendrick. He slowly manipulated his parents to take him far away from the kingdom. The baby's father carried Chris to a group of gypsies living across a wide river. Chris was able to use his psychic powers to convince a family to take care of the baby. The father returned to his home after Chris's successful mission and the hero's infant form was safe for now. The first phase of the mission was a huge success but Chris knew that there was a long way to go until the baby would have the ability to kill the tyrant Kendrick. His mission has only just begun.

Author's Note

I was watching the YouTube videos about the birth of Krishna and his infant years and it reminded me a lot about the movie The Boss Baby. Although Krishna doesn't talk like a grown man like the baby does in the movie, Krishna seemed to have extraordinary powers such as sucking the power out of the demoness to survive all by  himself. Since the story is already pretty far-fetched, I thought that it wouldn't be weird to write my own version of a story about agents possessing the body of a baby with supernatural powers to insure the safety of the baby.

  1. Shaun, this story was certainly unique and made me chuckle as I read it because I am a huge fan of The Boss Baby. I believe you tied in aspects of Krishna's upbringing and young life into this story of the boss baby. I did not at all think this was weird as you mentioned in the author's note and am really looking forward to reading more of your work!

  2. Hey Shaun,
This story was actually really funny and the picture of boss baby had me laughing before I even started reading. This was a really good adaptation and way of displaying the prowess of Krishna and I think you did a good job of telling this story. I agree it definitely is not weird to write a story about agents possessing the body of a baby with super powers. LOL.. really good story.

  3. Hi Shaun,
What a creative take on the og story. I like the story of Krishna a lot, so it was interesting to read him portrayed this way. I also used the Epified Krishna videos--they're so good! I think you did a great job creating a new story out of the original and incorporating it into the movie idea. I am not a fan of the movie myself, but that's probably just because my kid brother made me watch it like 100 times. Regardless, I enjoyed reading your story.
Good luck with the rest of the semester!

  4. Hey Shaun, I actually read and watched the same story your story is based on. I like the humorous twist in your story. I actually thought about this same movie when I read the story, so that is also funny. You did a good job in this story, keep up the good work. Maybe you can peep my story, as it is similar.

  5. Hi Shaun!

This was such a creative story! I never would have thought to combine Boss Baby with the subject material that we read a lot of the times so it was a super good idea. I really enjoyed this story as well although the logistics of it kind of confused me occasionally. I found myself having trouble keeping up with the plot at times. It might just be because I got confused between the agent baby and the hero baby, perhaps. I'm not sure, but I did enjoy this story.

    Good work!
